The signs of His visit are everywhere.
In the new fallen snow, reminding me of my sins washed white by the scarlet of His blood.
In the flittering birds, reminding of His Spirit always at work, even when I’m too busy to notice.
In the hush of the fields, reminding me of the quiet my soul longs for with time spent in His presence.
In the chill of the air, reminding me how my home needs the warmth of His love to usher out the sting of cold, hurtful words said in haste and frustration.
In the peace of my surroundings, reminding me how walking in His will and not my own will be the only thing that ever brings true peace.
The signs of His visit are everywhere…and I hope I don’t soon forget.
It’s been a long time (too long perhaps…), but today I’m writing alongside my other sisters (and maybe a few brothers 😉 ) for Five Minute Friday. And there’s a fun video on the link with one of my first “online” friends Katie Reid- the Tightly Wound Woman. Go see! And don’t miss FMF host Kate Motaung’s free e-book available today on Amazon. Lots of goodness for your Friday. 🙂 As always, thank you for being here…
