This was a favorite of mine that my mom made when I was growing up. Easy peas-y old school tuna noodle casserole! Make it tonight and go back in time with me. Comfort food at it’s finest. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna (small)
- 1 bag egg noodles
- 1 small onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tbsp butter for sauteing onion
- 1/2 can milk
- 1 sleeve saltines
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp seasoning of choice (I used Santa Maria)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 can little green peas
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325
- Saute onion in butter until translucent
- Cook egg noodles per instructions
- Mix cooked egg noodles, drained noodles, drained peas, onion, soup, milk, 1 cup cheese and seasoning
- Pour into 9×13 greased baking dish.
- Top with 1 cup of cheese and saltines.
- Cover with foil and cook for 20 minutes. Uncover and cook for 10 more minutes.
